Sycos ARINC-629 PMC product line is now complete and covers all requirements that need Transmitting, Bus Monitoring, Data Gathering and Multi-Terminal-Emulation. Sycos Multi-Current-Mode-Coupler provides a convenient way to communicate directly between LRU terminals, simply by connecting stub cables to any of the 5 ports on the card.

Sy629PMC-BPM
This card offers a Transmitter and Full Bus Monitor in a single width PMC. The design is based upon a well established product from Sycos’ VMEbus cards, with XPP, RPP and switchable data buffers implemented in embedded SRAM and 16 dedicated SRAM Cyclic Buffers for 32-bit data loads from/to PCI bus implemented in 256Kbytes of fast SRAM. Arinc-629 connection, +/-15v supply and Pseudo Bus connection are through LEMO connectors on the front panel. Other I/Os are routed to the PMC I/O connector. The PMC can be firmware upgraded to the Sy629PMC-BPE, to include Error Insertion and Detection capability.

This card offers Multi-Terminal-Emulation and Full Bus Monitoring. Up to 120 ARINC-629 Terminals communicating through one bus connection is available in a single width PMC. The design is based upon a well established product from Sycos’ VMEbus cards, with 120 XPPs, RPP and switchable data buffers implemented in SRAM.
Arinc-629 connection, +/-15v supply and IRIG-B input are through LEMO connectors on the front panel. Other I/Os are routed to the PMC I/O connector.

Sy629PMC-M-CMC
This card is a Multi-Current-Mode-Coupler that offers the user 5 stub cable connections to a terminated bus. No external ARINC-629 Bus Cable is required. LRU Stub Cables are connected directly to any of the 5 available ports which operate identically to conventional Current-Mode-Couplers connected to a terminated ARINC-629 Bus Cable. This PMC is particularly useful for test benches and flight simulators. Sycos provides adapter cables to qualified Stub Cable from an LRU.
Sycos ARINC-629 PMC interfaces are supported by Winows drivers, DLL and API. Linux Drivers and API are also available. VxWorks Drivers and BSP are also available.
Being PMC modules, PMC carrier cards such as VME, PCI, cPCI, PCIe and PXI can be used to communicate through a variety of host computers.
