ARINC 629 cPCI Products

Sycos offers CompactPCI solutions through the use of it’s PMC range of cards. Two hardware designs are available, each of which can be firmware upgraded to include the complexity of Fault Generation and Detection. The Multi-Coupler design is also available on a CompactPCI carrier.

Sy629cPCI-BPM

This Arinc-629 interface offers a transmitter and full bus monitor in a single width PMC, installed on a 3U CompactPCI carrier card. The design is based upon a well established product from Sycos’ VMEbus cards, with XPP, RPP and switchable data buffers implemented in embedded SRAM and 16 dedicated SRAM Cyclic Buffers for 32-bit data loads from/to PCI bus implemented in 256Kbytes of fast SRAM.

Arinc-629 connection, +/-15v supply and Pseudo Bus connection are through LEMO connectors on the front panel. Other I/Os are routed to the PMC I/O connector.

One Sy629PMC-BPM card can be installed on a 3U size cPCI-PMC carrier card, or two on a 6U size cPCI-PMC carrier card. Products are supplied with Windows drivers, DLL and API. Linux support is also available.

Sy629cPCI-BPT

This Arinc-629 interface offers Multi-Terminal-Emulation and full bus monitor in a single width PMC, installed on a 3U CompactPCI carrier card. The design is based upon a well established product from Sycos’ VMEbus cards, with XPP, RPP and switchable data buffers implemented in embedded SRAM. The card also offers IRIG-B input on the front panel.

Arinc-629 connection, +/-15v supply and IRIG-B connection are through LEMO connectors on the front panel. Other I/Os are routed to the PMC I/O connector.

One Sy629PMC-BPT card can be installed on a 3U size cPCI-PMC carrier card, or two on a 6U size cPCI-PMC carrier card. Products are supplied with Windows drivers, DLL and API. Linux support is also available.

Sy629cPCI-M-CMC

This Arinc-629 interface offers a Multi-Current-Mode-Coupler in a single width PMC installed on a 3U CompactPCI carrier card.

Power is drawn from the PMC connectors.

One Sy629PMC-M-CMC card can be installed on a 3U size cPCI-PMC carrier card, provides a bus with 5 stub cable connections or two on a 6U size cPCI-PMC carrier card, bus-linked, to provide a bus with 10 stub cable connections.
